Make Up by ICE

Ice is a professional make up artist and owner of Kingdom Beauty. She was born in Thailand and is of Chinese and Thai decent. Growing up, Ice would watch her sister draw and paint; creating a interest in art. As a young child, she was eager to learn about different types of mediums, and started to experiment with oil paints, acrylic paints and watercolors. This interest soon became her passion. While in school, she would spend most of her time drawing instead of doing classwork. Teachers began to notice her passion for art and encouraged her to enter art contests. Like most teenage girls, Ice became interested in make-up and would spend most of her time in the cosmetic aisles of her local drug store. Soon after, she began to give her friends makeovers. Realizing her love for beauty and cosmetics, she spent countless hours reading magazines and studying the make-up on the models. Once she graduated from high school in Thailand, it was clear that she was interested in pursing a career in Make-up Artistry. In 2007 Ice migrated to the United States and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a make-up artist. The first couple of years she spent her time studying make-up artistry and perfecting her technique at The Los Angeles Make-up School. While attending make up school, she was introduced to special effects make up and became extremely interested in learning more about this type of make-up artistry. Soon after graduating, she then attended The Cinema Make-Up school in Los Angeles. While studying special effects make-up she sadly realized that this was not the type of make-up she was interested in pursing, but she persevered and graduated. After graduation, she began to work as a freelance make-up artist. While freelancing she meet celebrity make-up artist Tatiana Ward and Renny Vasquez and had the opportunity to study and work with them. Ice has worked with L.A Weekly, The Miss California Pageant, and has worked on other various photo shoots. Most people that work with Ice have said that she has an easygoing attitude and is extremely professional. It is her vivacious personality that makes it a pleasure to know and work with her.And her do body and face painting also.Hello,my name is Ice.To some I'm know as Ice Ice baby. I was born at Thailand since 1983.I move to LA since 2007.I currently am a student at Cinema Makeup School & LAMUS.I have an array of experience from basic makeup design to special effects.Makeup is my passion!!! Along the way.I've had many opportunities for advancement in my artistry . What I truly value most has been the friendships. I have made along the way.
